Our customer’s passion for swimming and the movies has been the guiding principle for the strokes in this project. This project first came to life based on the golden ratio, the greatest and most current beauty canon from the time of the Greeks and the 16:9 it rules, which is present in today’s movie screens. Thereof, every space, line and shape within the house obeys this rule.

The terrace is the pinnacle of this concept as it features a 12.5 meter long swimming channel and a stellar wall in the same ratio with a 200-inch movie screen.

Casa 16:9 succeeds to merge nature, movies and water sports facing a unique landscape in Guadalajara city: the wilderness reserve of Bosque de la Primavera.
